Living in Jaco Costa Rica is an adventure every day. My wife, Michele and I have to regularly pinch ourselves to remind each other that this dream life of ours is for real! I wake up and go to bed every day listening to the Pacific Ocean Waves, smells of the fresh, salt air and we are blessed by amazing sunsets every evening. We only wear jackets and long pants when we travel (I never, ever wear long pants, jackets, ties or formal attire here - NEVER! It never gets cold (sometimes when the thermometer dips down to 70F - we feel cold). We hear and observe awesome exotic wildlife like majestic scarlet macaws, toucans, monkeys, butterflies, and so much more on a daily basis. Best yet, we enjoy all of these amazing things plus much more all within the comforts of our nice home with high speed internet VOIP telephone and US television channels that keep us fully connected to the outside world. We live in a small town of about 5,000 people where we have lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. English is spoken here. We are only a 2 hour plane ride from the US and enjoy excellent medical and dental care for pennies on the dollar. People often ask if we get bored living in Costa Rica? My response, "Only if we want to be!"
