The flora and fauna stay green throughout, however, because the area sees adequate rainfall throughout the rest of the year. The winter months or green season is May through October. The most rainfall in Costa Rica will typically be in May and October, during the transition from green season to dry season and vice versa. The temperatures in Jaco, Costa Rica are warm throughout the year. Average low temperatures are the low to mid 20's (mid 70's F) and the average high temperatures are the low 30's (low 90's F).
