The team was recently purchased from a franchise in Naranjo and will be moved to Jaco for the upcoming season. The name of the team will be the Jaco Rays and is owned by Resort and Condo Developer Pat Hundley of Daystar Properties as part of their ongoing effort to build the community of Jaco. They will also be developing a youth soccer program in Jaco. The team's manager is a the most famous soccer player in the history of Costa Rica, named Duck or Plato. The local population is excited! The team will play at the municipal staduim which will be undergoing renevations to include upgraded bleachers and skyboxes.
